A new video with the 1199 Panigale engine, this time in test cabin at Ducati HQ.
This video comes via Motorrad germany and all th einfo is in german, I guess that the guy is not telling anything new, just presenting the environment and some engine specifications that we arleady know, but the interesing part comes after.

Ducati released the video featuring the 1199 Panigale R and official photos. The sportiest version of them all is now on the market to comply with the World Superbikes homologation requirements. There are some new features also for the R model as in chassis and weight saving as you can read after the jump.
1199 R, Hayden, Spies, Austin
Double job in Austin for Ducati and their US riders, Hayden and Spies. This event marked the 'on track' launch of the new 1199 Panigale R on the U.S. market but mostly, the second and most important task was to 'map' the circuit for the GP machines after Honda and Yamaha had 3 days of testing here last week.

The brand, the legend, the story, the passion equals.. sales. The motorcycle industry continued to have some hard times in 2012 also regarding the sales, but not the same we can say about Ducati. The premium brand strikes again, after being the only motorcycle manufacturer to be on plus in 2011, this year Panigale is one of the best superbike sell.

This is the 2013 SBK version of the 1199 Panigale, will only be available for the racing teams, it cannot be bught from your local dealer but for sure will twist your mind if getting even close to one. The new 848 EVO Corse SE
Ducati's mid class superbike got an upgrade as in looks and also performance. The new 'baby' SBK will feature a new aluminum fuel tank, Ducati Traction Control, Ducati Quick Shift, an Öhlins rear shock and upgraded 330mm brake discs. The authorities decided this baby is too loud for their market and Ducati was forced to make some changes, changes that equals to a crime against motorcycling, just take a look what they've done.
Panigale S vs GT2 RS
Another bike vs car movie, a nice one made though, worths a look. Ducati 1199 Panigale S ridden by some visordown.com guy takes the newest italian creation and drags it against the new Porsche 997 GT2 RS. This one was held at Santa Pod drag track and imagine they did an 18 minute long movie about it. Nice and well made.
Panigale: First recall
Maybe everybody asked when this will happen first. Well it happened pretty soon, Ducati 1199 Panigale, is having its first technical recall. The problem is caused by an incorrect screw that was used to attach the rear swingarm to the rear suspension linkage. The faulty screw could cause the swingarm to detach from the linkage, would you gess what this could happen?

By surfing some Ducati related forums I found this vid and I considered it worth a share. Usually I'm very picky when it comes to amateur vid making and editing, this is also maybe because I had some related activities in the past and my standards are pretty high.
