Jerez de la Frontera is the "Area 51" for Ducati these days, today the GP12 tests began and will take place for 3 full days.
2011 Ducati's World SBK champion, Carlos Checa and the test pilot Franco Battaini will take the GP12 on track for the preliminary test and the overall preparing of the bike for Valentino and Nicky @ Sepang on january the 31st.
Preziosi, as usual, didn't said almost anything about the new bike at the press conference @ Wrooom where the 2012 Moto GP prototype was not present. We only know the bike will have the same carbon swingarm and the frame will be a twin spar perimetral one. Still, we do not know a thing about the engine and if it will still be a 90°, and the rumors in Italy speculates a new one with 75°.
We'll have to wait and see if some leaks will go off site at Jerez, but I doubt about it.
